Why UK Homes Will Need Air Conditioning for Heating and Cooling

For generations, most UK homes were designed primarily to retain heat during cold weather. Many UK homes were not designed for extreme heat

The construction of a property strongly affects its internal temperature. Insulation is important because it can reduce unwanted heat movement in both summer and winter. Portable air conditioners can cool individual rooms, but many require a large exhaust hose to be placed through an open window. They can also occupy floor space and may be less efficient than a correctly designed fixed system.
